With a mission to impart the quality education to each and every segment of society, Sri Ramakrishna Educational Society coveted dream came to existence in 1994 with the beginning of Sharada Post Graduate Institute of Research and Technological Sciences(SPIRTS), Kadapa one of the pioneer in the field of education guided by a well-known Chartered Accountant & Philanthropist Late. Sharada Post-Graduate Institute of Research and Technological Sciences (SPIRTS) is approved by all India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) and by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. SPIRTS is located in the corporation limits of Kadapa and has a well laid out campus and infrastructure with excellent facilities to pursue professional courses viz. , MCA & MBA.

The Institution is located on the New Collectorate – Arts College Road. It is well connected by good transport network. It is only 1.5 kms city Railway Station and 3 kms away from APSRTC Bus Station, Kadapa.

In a span of 23 years, SPIRTS has grown by leaps and bounds and has established all the infrastructure and facilities required as per the norms of affiliated University i.e. JNTUA, Anantapur. The class apart infrastructure that has big and spacious class rooms and laboratories fully equipped with all the modern equipment’s and technology. The Institute has good interaction with IT & ITES Companies. SPIRTS invite the professionals for visits, guest lectures and seminars to provide the student a better exposure to the real world.

SPIRTS have an excellent Placement Cell. The cell is responsible for generating and getting the students aware of information pertaining to the demands and the recruitments going on. Number of companies like HCL, INFOSYS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, TCS , ACCENTURE, HGS visited recently and has recruited many final year students.
